The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About awiar
awiar puts your bookmarks in Chrome's side panel, docked beside your tabs, so you can find and manage them without opening a new page or a cramped popup.
▎
▎ Everything is one flat, searchable list. Type to filter across titles and urls, or tap a folder or tag pill to narrow down. Each bookmark shows the folder it lives in, so you always know where you are.
▎
▎ It's a full manager, not just a viewer:
▎
▎ - Add the current page with one click.
▎ - Rename, delete, and move bookmarks from the panel.
▎ - Drag to reorder within a folder, or drop onto a folder pill to refile.
▎ - Add a note and tags to any bookmark. Tags become filter pills.
▎
▎ The panel stays in sync automatically when your bookmarks change anywhere in Chrome, follows your system light or dark theme, and works from the keyboard: "/" to search, arrows to move, F2 to rename, Delete to remove.
▎
▎ awiar runs entirely on your machine. It stores your notes and tags locally and sends nothing anywhere. It is open source and built on vanilla JavaScript with Manifest V3.
▎
▎ Requires Chrome 114 or later.
