AutoTube

AutoTube remembers your preferred playback speed for every YouTube channel and language so you never have to adjust it manually again. FEATURES • Default speed — Set a global playback speed that applies to every video automatically. • Per-channel speed — Subscribe to a channel and AutoTube saves your speed preference. Change it once from the YouTube player, it sticks forever. • Per-language speed — Set different speeds for different languages. Watch English lectures at 2x and Russian podcasts at 1.25x. • Music detection — Automatically slows down to your chosen music speed when a song is playing, even if the video is filed under Comedy or Entertainment. • Premium-aware — Detects YouTube Premium and unlocks speeds above 2x only when your account supports it. • Auto-learning — Change the speed 3 times on the same channel and AutoTube learns your preference without you saving anything. • Zero data collection — All settings stay on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. HOW IT WORKS Set your default speed in the popup. Browse YouTube. AutoTube applies the right speed on every video. Override manually anytime — AutoTube steps back until the next video. Built for speed. Under 15 KB content script. No dependencies.
