About AutoPass
AutoPass stores passwords, passkeys, identities and secure notes in a vault encrypted on your device before syncing. Save new logins, choose a saved account to fill a matching website, and confirm password updates when you change them.
YOUR VAULT
Protect your vault with a master password and a device-generated Secret Key. Keep your Recovery Kit somewhere safe. The sync service cannot decrypt your vault contents without your keys. It also processes account information and operational metadata needed to provide the service.
EVERYDAY TOOLS
• Save and fill matching website logins.
• Review and confirm password updates.
• Generate random passwords and memorable passphrases.
• Store and use supported website passkeys with your approval.
• Fill saved identities, including multiple profiles and addresses.
• Generate one-time authentication codes from saved setup keys.
• Organize logins, notes, cards and other records with tags and favorites.
• Review weak or reused passwords with Vault health.
• Export encrypted backups and import CSV or 1Password 1PUX files. Mac 1PUX exports do not transfer passkeys.
ACROSS YOUR DEVICES
Use the extension, AutoPass web vault and desktop application with the same account. Encrypted changes sync when you reconnect after working offline. Website support depends on the form and browser; some sites require extra interaction.
OPTIONAL SECURITY FEATURES
Set up two-step sign-in using an authenticator app or text-message codes. Optional exposed-password checks send a short password-hash prefix to Have I Been Pwned; they are off by default. Your master password is never sent to the sync service.
Use a local vault or turn on sync with the hosted service at https://getautopass.com/ or your own compatible server. Keep your Secret Key and any recovery code safe; recovery depends on the options you have configured.
