Auto Mute New Tabs

Auto Mute New Tabs is a lightweight, privacy-focused extension that ensures your browsing experience remains quiet. No more heart-stopping auto-playing ads or unexpected videos when you open a new link. Take back control of your browser's audio. Silent by default, loud only when you want it. * Silent by Default: Every new tab you open is automatically muted the moment it's created. * Domain Whitelisting: Add your favorite sites like YouTube, Spotify, or Netflix to the whitelist. Whitelisted domains are automatically unmuted, so your music and videos play exactly when you expect them to. * Priority Locking: Need a specific tab to stay loud? Toggle the Priority (Lock) mode. This unmutes the tab and protects it from any automatic muting or "Mute All" commands. * One-Click Mute All: Instantly silence every tab in your browser with a single button (while respecting your Priority tabs). * Modern Design: A clean, minimal interface with full Dark Mode and Light Mode support, designed to stay out of your way. * Privacy First: Works entirely on your machine. Your whitelist and settings are stored locally and never leave your browser.
