About Audit Helper — Assign Organizer Tasks to Your Team
Audit Helper adds team assignment to the CCH Axcess Engagement Organizer.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL: Audit Helper needs a one-time setup, about ten minutes, done by one person on your team. You need client access to a CCH Axcess Engagement Organizer and a Google account. It does nothing until it is connected. Setup guide:
https://applauseconsulting.com/audit-helper/setup/
When your auditor sends a request list, the organizer shows you what is needed but not who on your team owns it. Audit Helper adds three controls to every request item — who it is assigned to, your own internal due date, and a status — without changing anything your auditor sees.
• Assign any request item to a teammate
• Set an internal due date, earlier than the auditor's if you want lead time
• Filter the list to just your items, or to anything still unassigned
• Track status through Open, In Progress, Ready, Submitted and Done
• Marking an item Completed in the organizer updates your tracker automatically
• Open the tracker sheet straight from the toolbar button
• Bring in a teammate with a one-line invite
Everything is stored in a Google Sheet that you create and control. A Google Apps Script you deploy sends assignment notices, due-date reminders, overdue nudges and weekly digests to your team, plus a daily activity digest to whoever is running the engagement. Who gets the digests, and when the mail goes out, is set on a tab of the sheet.
If a colleague already uses Audit Helper, ask them for an invite (toolbar button, Copy invite for teammates) and paste it in when the extension asks.
