Content you choose to distill (page text, and for videos the media you select) is processed on our hosted service; transient audio/video is deleted after processing. Your browser cookies and login state are never uploaded. We keep your account email and usage counts to enforce quota. Purchases are handled by third-party payment providers — we store only order metadata, never your card number. We also collect anonymous usage analytics — actions, timestamps and result codes only (e.g. "distill succeeded", "capture failed") — to improve the product. This never includes your page text, transcripts, note content, links, cookies or keys, and you can turn it off anytime in the extension's Setup. You can delete your account and associated data from Setup at any time.
