ATCOpedia eGCA Assist

ATCOpedia EGCA Assist is a productivity extension designed to help authorised Air Traffic Controllers transfer eligible duty and training records from IAMATC to the EGCA E-Logbook with reduced repetitive manual entry. The extension reads entries selected by the user on supported IAMATC pages, normalises the relevant duty information and assists with filling the corresponding EGCA E-Logbook fields. The user can review the copied entries and remains responsible for checking every record before final submission. Key features include: • Copying selected IAMATC controlling, instructor and training-received entries • Assisting with EGCA E-Logbook form filling • Normalising dates, times, units, sectors, positions and duty types • Handling applicable cross-midnight duty periods • Resetting the EGCA form before processing a new entry • Showing copied entries in a processing queue • Supporting assisted automatic filling and individual-entry filling • Displaying entry progress and verification status • Stopping the workflow when EGCA saving cannot be verified • Allowing manual review and correction before continuing • Restricting normal users to their own authorised records • Providing a time-limited ATCOpedia authentication session • Automatically closing the login window after successful verification • Clearing temporary copied data after logout or session expiry Typical workflow: Sign in through the dedicated ATCOpedia EGCA Assist login page. Open the relevant IAMATC page and select the required entries. Copy the selected entries using the extension. Open the appropriate EGCA E-Logbook page. Review the copied queue and begin the assisted filling process. Verify every entry before completing the final EGCA submission. ATCOpedia EGCA Assist is a data-entry assistance tool. It does not independently approve, certify or submit an E-Logbook entry on behalf of the controller. The user remains responsible for confirming the accuracy, eligibility and completeness of every record. The extension is intended only for authorised users with legitimate access to IAMATC, EGCA and ATCOpedia.
