About askora — Clip
Found something good?
Clip it in one click. askora Clip saves the web page or YouTube video you are looking at into askora. An AI summarizes it in three to five lines. Months later, ask "what was that again?" and askora answers with the sentence you clipped and its date.
[ One-click clipping ] • Clip with the toolbar icon, the right-click menu, or Alt+Shift+S. • Select a few lines and right-click to save just those sentences, word for word, with the source. • The link and title are filled in for you. Add a one-line note on why you saved it, typed or spoken.
[ AI summary ] • askora reads the article on a web page, or the captions on YouTube, and writes a three-to-five-line summary. With no captions, it uses the video description. • The summary is always labeled "AI summary" and kept apart from your own note. • Tags reuse the ones you already have, so they do not multiply.
[ YouTube times ] • For videos with captions, each summary line carries its time in the video. • In the askora app, tap the time and the video plays from that moment. Check it, then open the entry.
[ Ask, and get the source and date ] • In the askora app, ask something like "What did that walking article say?" askora quotes the sentence you clipped and adds its date. • It searches your clips and your own notes together. • If it is not in your entries, askora says so. It does not make things up.
[ Everything in one place ] • Clips, videos, your notes, and notes moved in from Obsidian, Notion and other apps sit together in the library by date. • Similar earlier entries can be grouped under one topic. • Export any time as MD, PDF, TXT or JSON.
[ Privacy ] • The extension reads the current tab only when you press it. It does not read other tabs or your browsing history. • No ads. Your entries are never sold or used to train AI.
