The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Amazon Review Exporter - CSV & Excel
Amazon Review Exporter helps Amazon sellers, product selectors, and user feedback researchers organize publicly available reviews on product pages into easily analyzable data. After opening a supported Amazon product page, you can set a target number of 10–500 reviews, select all star ratings or specify 1–5 stars, and sort by newest or most helpful. The extension also supports filtering by keywords, verified purchases, and plain text, image, or video reviews.
Once the task starts, a dedicated results page will display the number of unique comments, duplicates, checked pages, failed pages, and the current star rating and page number in real time. You can pause, continue, cancel, or retry failed pages individually at any time. The extension automatically merges different star rating branches and deduplicates data by comment ID, comment link, and content fingerprint to reduce duplicate data.
After data collection is complete, the results can be exported as XLSX, CSV, or JSON. CSV uses Excel-compatible encoding and handles commas, quotation marks, line breaks, emojis, and multilingual text; XLSX retains complete fields; JSON is suitable for further analysis or importing into other tools. Locally collected results will not be locked after the trial ends.
The target limit for a single task is a maximum of 500 reviews, but the actual number depends on Amazon's currently publicly visible scope, login status, country, product variations, CAPTCHA, and risk control restrictions. Instead of leaving the task in a loading state, the extension retains existing results and displays the actual number, reason for stopping, scope checked, and available recovery actions if the target cannot be reached.
Local data collection mode does not silently upload comment content. Task checkpoints, settings, and collection results are saved locally in the browser, and can be reopened and processed again after closing the results page. Necessary product information will only be sent after clearly specifying the expected amount and price when the user actively chooses cloud-based data replenishment.
It supports Amazon's national marketplaces in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, and Brazil, and offers a multilingual interface. Amazon Review Exporter is an independently developed tool, not an official Amazon product, and is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Amazon.
