The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Alison Translator - مترجم أليسون
The short version
Alison Translator collects no personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The extension has no server of its own — nothing is ever sent to its author.
What moves, and what doesn't
Leaves your device
Caption text
To translate a lesson, its caption text is sent to a translation service along with the target language. Nothing accompanies it — no identifier, no account, no page address, no browsing history.
Stays on your device
Settings and transcripts
Settings — language, voice speed, volume levels, which features are on.
Transcripts — for each lesson you open, the original caption lines, their translations, and their timestamps.
Translation cache — lines already translated, so the same line is never translated twice.
All of it lives in your browser's local extension storage. It is not uploaded anywhere, not synced between your devices, and not readable by the author or anyone else.

**Also fixed while in there** — the homepage still said *"Sixteen languages"* and never mentioned reading lessons at all. Now says 45, with a card for reading lessons and an updated description.
**"New in 1.1.0"** section added to the homepage: reading lessons, any-to-any languages, the fullscreen button and why Vimeo's own one can't work, one subtitle instead of three, per-voice speech, and the 35 audited fixes.
