Al Jazeera for Chrome - News Sidebar

Get to Al Jazeera faster. This free side panel puts quick links to every Al Jazeera section in one place, with a list of handy keyboard shortcuts, in English and Arabic. What it does • Opens a side panel from the toolbar icon with links to Al Jazeera's sections and sites. • Shows a shortcuts list for reading Al Jazeera faster. • Adds two small buttons to the Al Jazeera site header, one of which links to the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. • Adds a "Read on Al Jazeera" button on Al Jazeera's own YouTube channels and Facebook pages. • Switches between English and Arabic, with right-to-left layout for Arabic. Privacy • The panel reads nothing from the pages you visit. It does not read article text or your browsing history. • Anonymous usage counts (for example, panel opens and link clicks) are sent with a random install ID. No page content or article titles are sent. See the privacy policy for the full list. Occasionally you may see a short invitation to review the extension. Participation is optional.
