AiTaC AI Tracking Save new AI prompts and replies locally in the AiTaC Windows desktop app. AiTaC AI Tracking connects supported AI websites in Chrome to the AiTaC desktop app on the same PC. Review captured conversations alongside your desktop monitoring activity, and find saved prompts and replies by AI service or date. REQUIRES THE AITAC WINDOWS DESKTOP APP AND AN ACTIVATED LICENSE. This extension does not work as a standalone conversation viewer. Desktop licensing may require payment; see Requirements and costs below. Features - Capture newly submitted prompts and AI replies on supported ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity pages. - View captured messages in the desktop app's Prompt and Response activity view. - Read saved conversations through Open Logs, with AI-service and date filters and paginated history. - See the app connection state directly on supported pages: Active in green, Paused in yellow, or Offline in red. - Retry delivery from an encrypted local browser queue when the desktop app is temporarily unavailable. - Store saved prompt and reply records locally using encryption protected by your Windows user account. How to use 1. Download and install the AiTaC Windows desktop app from the AiTaC website. 2. Activate your desktop license and confirm that it permits AI tracking. Log viewing also requires log permission. 3. Install this extension in each browser profile you use. Disable older unpacked copies and refresh your AI website tabs. 4. Open AiTaC and start tracking. 5. Send a harmless sample prompt on a supported website. Confirm the prompt and reply appear in the desktop app and its saved logs. Requirements and costs - A Windows PC running the AiTaC desktop app and Google Chrome 109 or later. - An activated AiTaC desktop license with AI tracking permission. Your license administrator controls feature permissions. - Eligible accounts can use the desktop application's 30-day, one-PC trial. Continued use after the trial requires an applicable desktop license. - Paid desktop plans have monthly pricing based on the selected PC count/package; larger deployments can request a business quote. Check the AiTaC website's Packages page for current prices, eligibility, and available offers. - The extension does not process purchases. Desktop licensing is managed separately through the AiTaC website. - Supported AI services may require their own accounts or subscriptions. Their fees are separate from AiTaC licensing. Data handling and recording controls The extension observes new prompts, replies, page/conversation identifiers, and status information on supported pages. Supported attachment interactions can produce file-name, type, size, and hash metadata; attachment contents are not included in transmitted events, and the current desktop conversation log does not save attachment events. Events are delivered to the desktop app on the same PC. The extension does not send conversation text directly to our website or an analytics service. Separately, the desktop app communicates with licensing services and uploads process/connection summaries for the license owner's website live tracking view; those summaries do not include saved conversation text. The browser's encrypted waiting queue is bounded to approximately 8 MB and 24 hours. Its key is stored in the browser profile. Desktop prompt records are protected by Windows user encryption, with a 64 MB database limit and 90-day cleanup during writes. Oldest records may be removed to make room. Messages delivered while desktop recording is paused are discarded rather than replayed later. The extension can still observe and temporarily queue events while the app is paused or unavailable; disable the extension to stop its capture entirely. Existing conversation history is not imported. Website layout changes may affect capture, and an Active badge confirms the app's recording state rather than guaranteeing that every message was saved.
