AI GitHub Ingest Engine

AI GitHub Ingest Engine is a browser extension for AI programming and code analysis scenarios. Simply paste a GitHub repository or code link into a supported AI chat page, and the extension automatically parses the target content, organizes the repository structure and code into structured context suitable for AI understanding, and delivers it directly into the current conversation. Its core goal is simple: reduce the repetitive manual work of downloading, copying, and organizing GitHub code, so AI can obtain complete, clear, and structured project context faster. Main Features: Paste and parse: Paste GitHub repository, branch, directory, or file links directly, with no need to manually open and copy code one by one. Automatically build project context: After parsing GitHub content, generate a directory tree, file list, and structured code summaries to help AI understand the overall project structure faster. Smart file filtering: Automatically exclude common build artifacts, dependency directories, caches, binary files, and other content generally not needed by AI, reducing ineffective context. Large project support: Automatically split large summaries based on file size and site limits to avoid a single attachment being too large. Two delivery methods: Supports real Markdown file attachments and a lightweight Pseudo-file mode. In pseudo-file mode, only file metadata is displayed on the page; the actual content remains in browser memory and is injected when sending. Multi-AI platform adaptation: Built-in support for multiple AI platforms, and supports extending to other AI sites via a site whitelist. GitHub Personal Access Token: Optional GitHub PAT configuration for accessing private repositories and GitHub content requiring authentication. Local processing: The extension has no independent content-processing relay server. GitHub content is fetched directly by the browser and parsed, filtered, organized, and delivered locally. Site policy control: Enable, disable, or blacklist the current website, and separately manage custom sites. Chinese and English interface: Supports Simplified Chinese and English. Light and dark themes: Provides Washi light and Inkstone dark themes, and adapts injected UI components on AI websites. Suitable Scenarios: When you need ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or other AI tools to analyze GitHub projects, you can directly paste repository links and let the extension handle code fetching and context organization, instead of repeatedly downloading ZIPs, expanding directories, copying files, and manually organizing prompts.
