About ADRODUB
ADRODUB speaks a live translation over any audio and video playing in Chrome.
Not subtitles you have to read: an actual voice, over the top of the original,
the way interpretation sounds on television.
Watch foreign news, university lectures, live streams, podcasts, interviews,
sports commentary or a recorded call, and hear it in your own language.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install ADRODUB and open any audio or video that is playing.
2. Choose a language and press Start. The original audio drops to about a
quarter and the translated voice plays over it. You can move that balance
while it is playing.
3. The first minute runs on us, with nothing to set up. Sign in and you get
ten minutes free. To keep dubbing without limits, paste your own free
Google Gemini key, which any Google account can create in a minute at
aistudio.google.com/apikey. It is stored on your own computer.
TWELVE LANGUAGES, BOTH DIRECTIONS
Persian, Arabic, English, Urdu, Hindi, Turkish, French, German, Spanish,
Russian, Chinese and Japanese.
TWO SPEAKERS GET TWO VOICES
In a podcast with two hosts, ADRODUB listens to the pitch of whoever is
speaking and gives them their own voice, so a conversation does not sound like
one narrator reading both parts. It happens on its own; there is nothing to set
up.
WHAT IT COSTS
Dubbing on your own Google key is free and unlimited, for as long as ADRODUB
exists. That key is yours: your audio goes from your browser straight to
Google and the translated voice comes back, never through our servers, so
there is nothing for us to charge you for and nothing for us to store.
If you would rather not deal with keys at all, we run it on our own Google
account instead. One minute free with no sign-up, ten minutes free once you
sign in. Beyond that there are optional paid plans: ADRODUB Pro at $9.90 a
month for 180 minutes a month, and Pro Plus at $17.90 for 360. You can also
simply buy minutes outright from $6, with no subscription at all, and bought
minutes never expire. Everything paid is optional, cancels any time, and
carries a full refund inside 14 days. Details at https://adrodub.adrolab.ai/#pro
WHAT WE ASK FOR
After the first free minute we ask for your name and email once, and then it
keeps working. We use the address to tell you when new languages and features
land. That is the only thing we collect, and the audio you dub is never part
of it.
HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS
- The voice runs about one to two seconds behind the speaker. Every interpreter,
human or machine, has to hear a phrase before saying it.
- Speakers are separated by pitch, not by gender, so two voices in a similar
register will share one voice.
- Machine translation makes mistakes. Do not rely on it where accuracy matters,
such as medical, legal or official settings.
- Heavy daily use can reach the limits of Google's free tier.
PRIVACY
We never receive the audio you dub, because it does not travel through us. Your
API key stays on your device. Full policy: https://adrodub.adrolab.ai/privacy.html
