The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About AccessUX SiteScan

AccessUX SiteScan is a free accessibility toolbar for Chrome and Edge. A small AccessUX tab sits at the edge of the page you are looking at. Open it to check that page — including a draft in your CMS. What you can do (no account needed) • PageScan Inspector — run automated accessibility checks on this live page. Choose WCAG 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2, and level A, AA, or AAA. • Page render — see this page at desktop, tablet, or phone sizes, including portrait and landscape. • Colour contrast — pick two colours from the page. See the ratio and whether it is enough for text and controls. • Images — see which images are informative and which are marked decorative. • Headings — see the heading outline, including headings marked up with ARIA. • Focus order — see the keyboard tab order on the page. • Landmarks — see banner, main, navigation, and other regions. • Link text — find empty or “click here” links. • Colour blindness — preview deuteranopia, protanopia, tritanopia, or grayscale. What Chrome’s warning means Chrome may say this plugin can “read and change data on websites.” That is Chrome’s phrase for drawing a tab, badges, and highlights on top of the page in your browser. SiteScan does not edit the website, save files to it, or publish anything. It does not scan pages in the background while you browse. Checks run when you open a tool. Close the tools and the page looks as it did before. Privacy We do not record every site you visit. Page checks run on your device. This first version does not need a SiteScan account. Full details: https://accessux.com.au/privacy/sitescan-plugin/ SiteScan plans (optional) SiteScan on accessux.com.au is AccessUX’s website accessibility product. You can use this plugin without an account. A later update will let people with a plan sign in once — the same login as the website — to see known bugs, add a My Bug, and add this page to their list. Who it is for People who design, write, or build websites. What it is not This is not a screen-reader simulator. It does not replace a full accessibility audit.
