ZoraMaker - Save the designs you download

For makers who use ZoraMaker (zoramaker.com) - 3D printing, laser engraving and cutting, vinyl, sublimation and more. KEEP EVERY DESIGN YOU DOWNLOAD ORGANIZED Makers download hundreds of design files and lose track of where each one came from, who designed it and what its license allows. When you download a design file from a design site, a small box on that page asks whether to save it to your ZoraMaker Inbox. It's already filled in from the page: the design's name, the designer, a link back to the page, and the license as the page shows it. You add one answer - whether you may sell what you make from it - and choose whether to send the file itself. YOUR INBOX, THEN YOUR WORKSHOP Saved designs wait in your ZoraMaker Inbox until you're ready. "Add as a design" turns each one into a design in your library, with its file, its pictures, its designer and its license kept together - so months later you still know where a file came from and whether you can sell what you make with it. From there you can organize your designs with your own tags, turn them into the products you sell, and give each one a recipe: the materials every piece takes and the machine or equipment that makes it. DESIGNS SHARED IN GOOGLE DRIVE Many designers share their files from a Google Drive folder. ZoraMaker offers to save those downloads too - and once you've named the designer for a folder, it remembers them, so the next file from that folder arrives already filled in. CLEAN UP YOUR DOWNLOADS FOLDER After saving, it can delete the file from your Downloads to free up space - your copy is safe in ZoraMaker. "Move my downloads" brings in the design files already sitting in your Downloads folder: tick them, and each goes to your Inbox with its file. It points out files that look like ones already in ZoraMaker, so you don't save the same design twice. Your design files are stored in ZoraMaker, not just on one computer, and backed up every night: encrypted, and kept apart from the live copies. Lose a hard drive or replace a computer, and your library is still there. WORKS WITH THE FILES MAKERS USE It recognizes 3D models, laser and cutting files, artwork and design bundles - including zipped packs - and stays quiet for everything else you download. YOU STAY IN CONTROL It only ever asks - nothing is saved unless you press Save. It wakes only on the design sites you choose, and you can add any other site you get designs from, right from its menu. "Never on this site" and "Pause for an hour" are one click away. It never reads your browsing history or other pages, and it sends nothing to anyone but your own ZoraMaker account.
