About ZenithGuard
ZenithGuard is a privacy-focused browser extension for blocking ads and trackers, managing site rules, and inspecting network activity.
What's New in 3.3.5
Fixed repeated cleanup on idle pages with saved hiding rules.
Reduced repeated page scans and limited work done while inspecting page changes.
Improved Performance Mode and applied its changes to already-open pages.
Fixed stale hiding styles and pending cleanup after rules are disabled.
Updated Gemini presets to 3.8 Flash, 3.7 Flash, and 3.5 Flash-Lite, with 3.5 Flash-Lite as the default. Existing supported selections and custom model IDs remain available.
Removed the misleading Local AI test panel from settings.
What ZenithGuard can do
Block common advertising, tracking, and telemetry requests
Pause protection for individual sites
Inspect activity using the Analyzer and Logger
Manage custom network blocks, site policies, and hidden elements in My Rules
Hide unwanted page elements using Zapper and Inspector
Provide cookie-banner handling tools
Offer optional Gemini-assisted analysis when configured with your own API key
Privacy and control
Core blocking and rule management run locally. Optional Gemini features send the data needed for the requested action directly to Google. The API key is stored locally and excluded from settings backups. See the privacy policy for details.
ZenithGuard does not provide list-based malware protection. Chrome's own Safe Browsing is unaffected. These performance improvements are not a confirmed fix for browser or PC freezes.
Some blocking or page-cleanup features can affect site behavior. Use site controls to adjust protection when needed.
