About ZDResearch Anonymity Guard

Your VPN or proxy changes your IP address, but your browser still reports your real timezone, location, language and keyboard layout. A site that sees a New York IP and a browser set to Istanbul time concludes you're using a VPN. Anonymity Guard makes all of these match your exit IP. HOW IT WORKS Most spoofing extensions replace JavaScript functions inside every page. Detection scripts find those replacements easily, and workers, iframes and blank frames often still see the real values. Anonymity Guard sets the values in the browser engine instead, through the browser's built-in debugging interface, the same mechanism DevTools uses for device emulation. Pages see unmodified browser functions, and pages, iframes and workers all report the same timezone. WHAT IT SETS • Timezone: Date, Intl and every other time API, including daylight saving • Geolocation: the position websites get from the location API • Locale: number, date and currency formatting, calendar and first day of the week • Language: the Accept-Language header and navigator.languages, kept in agreement • Keyboard layout: hidden from sites, as Brave does (a non-English layout points at where you're from) AUTO OR MANUAL • Auto: looks up your exit IP and sets everything to match. It checks again every few minutes, so switching VPN servers needs no manual step. • Manual: set each value yourself. Each protection can be turned on or off on its own. BUILT-IN CHECKS The popup shows what the current tab reports, whether WebRTC exposes an IP other than your exit IP, and whether sites see your real screen size. If WebRTC leaks, one click restricts it to the proxy. In browsers other than Brave, it also lists what stays exposed: canvas, WebGL and audio fingerprints, exact hardware details, fonts and related browser settings. FULL TEST Free server-side check of everything a site can see: https://guard.zdresearch.com/check/ WHO IT'S FOR Anonymity Guard is built for people who already use a VPN or proxy and understand how browser fingerprinting works. It works best in Brave, which already handles canvas, WebGL and audio fingerprinting. It runs in Chrome, Brave and any Chromium browser, version 125 or later. THE "STARTED DEBUGGING THIS BROWSER" BAR Because Anonymity Guard uses the debugging interface, the browser shows a bar on every tab. Everything works with it showing; just don't click Cancel, which stops the protection. One launcher per browser hides it for good, all profiles included: https://guard.zdresearch.com/setup/ PRIVACY Anonymity Guard has no account, no analytics and no tracking. Your settings stay in your browser. The only network requests it makes are exit-IP lookups (ipinfo.io, with ipapi.co and ipwho.is as backups) and a STUN request when you run the WebRTC check. The only thing it adds to pages is a one-line script that hides the keyboard layout API; it reads no page content and exposes no files websites could use to detect it. https://guard.zdresearch.com · By ZDResearch.
