About permissions: YT Remote only needs access to youtube.com. If you turn on the floating mini player, Chrome will ask for permission to run on other sites. That permission is optional, is only requested when you switch the mini player on, and is used only to draw the player. You can revoke it at any time from Settings. Privacy: No account, no tracking, no analytics. The only thing YT Remote ever sends anywhere is your Pro licence key, to check that it is valid. Nothing about what you watch leaves your browser.
