About YouTube Music Media Keys

YouTube Music Media Keys enables seamless control of YouTube Music playback using your keyboard's hardware media keys (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) even when Chrome's built-in media key handling is disabled. Key Features: • Control YouTube Music with hardware media keys from any application • Works globally - no need to focus the YouTube Music tab • Lightweight and efficient - only activates when YouTube Music is open • Preserves media key functionality for other applications when YouTube Music isn't running • No intrusive popups or interface changes How it works: The extension detects when you press hardware media keys and automatically finds your YouTube Music tab to control playback. If no YouTube Music tab is open, the extension remains dormant, allowing other media players to handle the keys normally. Perfect for users who want dedicated YouTube Music control while keeping Chrome's media key handling disabled for other applications.
