The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About YouTube Gatekeeper

YouTube Gatekeeper puts you in control of your YouTube habits. Videos are blocked by default — only channels you whitelist or videos you explicitly permit can play. Use the Channels tab to manage approved channel handles, and the Videos tab to review individually allowed videos. A clean, minimal options page makes it easy to add, remove, or clear your entire allowlist in one click. Great for focused work, parental control, or breaking the autoplay habit.
