YouTube Focus Pro

YouTube Focus Pro transforms your YouTube homepage into a calm, intentional starting point designed to help you protect your attention and stay focused. Instead of an endless wall of recommended videos, you’ll see a full‑screen, minimalist “focus gate” featuring: A grayscale, high‑quality portrait of an inspiring figure (scientists, inventors, artists, leaders, athletes, and more). A carefully curated quote about focus, deep work, discipline, or meaningful effort. A single distraction‑free search bar, centered on the screen. No thumbnails. No autoplay. No clickbait. Just one clear question: What will you learn today? When you type your query and press Enter, YouTube’s normal search results page opens, but the home feed remains hidden, so you don’t get pulled back into mindless scrolling. This lets you use YouTube as a tool, not a trap. Key features: Replaces the YouTube homepage with a clean, full‑screen focus screen. Rotating gallery of inspiring figures mapped from a local images folder (no external image tracking). Large set of focus‑centric quotes that never repeat back‑to‑back in the same session. Fully responsive layout that works on different screen sizes (desktop and mobile where extensions are supported). Minimal, dark, high‑contrast design that keeps attention on the quote and search bar. Uses only a single search box—no recommendations, sidebars, or comments on the home view. All images are loaded from the extension itself; nothing is fetched from third‑party CDNs by default. Who it’s for: Students who use YouTube to study and don’t want to lose time on the home feed. Developers, creatives, and knowledge workers who rely on YouTube tutorials but want to stay in control of their attention. Anyone trying to reduce digital distraction and build deeper focus habits without blocking YouTube entirely. Privacy: YouTube Focus Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All logic runs locally in your browser. There are no analytics scripts, trackers, or external logins. The extension only modifies how the YouTube homepage is displayed on your device. Use YouTube with intention, not impulse. Turn every visit to youtube.com into a tiny reminder of your goals—and a single, focused step toward them.
