YouTube Dislike Counter & Rating Bar

Restore the Full Picture: See Dislikes and Rating Bars on YouTube Again! Ever feel like you’re missing half the story when watching a tutorial or a product review? YouTube Dislike Counter & Rating Bar brings back the transparency you deserve by restoring estimated dislike counts and adding a sleek, live rating bar to every video and YouTube Short. Using data from the public Return YouTube Dislike API, this extension seamlessly integrates with the modern YouTube interface to give you an instant snapshot of a video's reception. 🚀 Key Features: • Real-Time Dislike Counts: See estimated dislike numbers directly next to the Like button. • Dynamic Rating Bar: A color-coded bar (Red/Orange/Gray) that visualizes the like-to-dislike ratio at a glance. • YouTube Shorts Support: Works perfectly on the Shorts player, helping you identify high-quality content quickly. • Customizable Experience: Toggle between compact number formatting (e.g., 1.2K), tooltip percentages, and colorized meter accents. • Perfect Integration: Designed to look like a native part of the YouTube UI—no clunky overlays or distracting popups. 🔒 Privacy-First Design: We believe in the principle of least privilege. This extension: • Does NOT track your browsing history. • Does NOT require access to your personal data. • Only requests minimal permissions (activeTab) strictly necessary to display stats. How it works: Since YouTube removed dislikes from their official API, this extension uses the community-powered Return YouTube Dislike API to provide the most accurate estimates available. These counts are updated in real-time as more users interact with the video. Note: This extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
