The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About YouTube Channel Blocker
Does an unwanted channel keep showing up in your recommendations?
YouTube Channel Blocker lets you block an entire channel in a couple of clicks, right while you are watching.
Features
- Click the extension icon on any video page to block the channel you are watching.
- Opening a video or a Short from a blocked channel shows a block page instead of the video.
- Unblocking has intentional friction: you go through two persuasion steps before a channel is unblocked, which protects you from impulsive unblocking.
- View, search, and manage your blocked channel list.
- Your block list syncs with your Chrome account across devices.
Great for
- Digital detox, focus time, and cutting down time lost to specific channels
- Removing a channel completely from your algorithmic recommendations
Privacy
- No data collection. Your block list is stored only in your browser's sync storage.
