About YourVisaSite Companion

YourVisaSite Practitioner Companion is an invitation-only Chrome side panel for registered migration practitioners who use YourVisaSite. While an ImmiAccount application draft is open, the side panel shows the reviewed facts already saved for the matter, person and visa profile the practitioner has selected in YourVisaSite, shows which recognised fields on the page are still empty, match or differ, and suggests which saved detail to copy next. The practitioner copies one value at a time and pastes it into ImmiAccount themselves. What it does - Shows saved facts beside the current ImmiAccount page, with a link back to the source record and to the matter's documents inside YourVisaSite. - Tracks each recognised field on the page as empty, matching the saved detail, different from it or not checkable, with a progress line for the page. A field that differs is listed for the practitioner to check and is never changed. - Suggests one saved detail to copy next, in page order, with a plain confidence and source label. - Copies a single value to the clipboard when the practitioner chooses it, after YourVisaSite approves that copy. The practitioner pastes it. - Recognises the reviewed pages of the Partner (820/801) application automatically while the practitioner has allowed page reading for online.immi.gov.au (terms, application context, primary applicant, contact details, sponsor, sponsor's contact details and a family member row). Terms and application-context pages have nothing to copy, and pages from a different application form or not yet reviewed offer nothing. - Keeps the saved facts current while the practitioner works: they are re-verified with YourVisaSite before expiry and whenever the practitioner returns to the tab, and changed facts are shown for review before use. - Keeps a record of what was copied (field names and results only, never values) and delivers it to the practitioner's YourVisaSite audit record even if the connection closed first. - Records the practitioner's own verdicts on field matches so that mappings improve through human review. What it does not do - It has no login of its own and never sees ImmiAccount credentials. - It never types into a field, ticks a box, presses Next or moves between pages, and it does not submit, lodge, declare or pay. The practitioner pastes every value, accepts the terms and moves through the form themselves. It stops on login, declaration, review, submission and payment pages. - It does not call any external AI service and does not run remote code. - It stores no client facts in the browser: the snapshot it displays lives in memory, expires after five minutes and is cleared when the sidebar is disconnected. The only data kept on the device is the delivery queue described in the privacy notice, which holds field names and results, never values. The practitioner uses their own ImmiAccount and credentials. Under clause 4.5 of the ImmiAccount terms and conditions, software automation techniques or solutions must not be used when using ImmiAccount; under clause 4.6, misuse may be referred to the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). That is why the extension only reads the page and copies one value at a time. The Department of Home Affairs does not endorse this extension. Access is granted by a YourVisaSite administrator to individual practitioners for a limited time and can be withdrawn at any moment. It is independent of the Australian Government and the Department of Home Affairs. UPGRADING FROM YOURVISASITE ASSISTANT This release replaces the earlier Assistant. Existing users reconnect through YourVisaSite and need an active practitioner invitation. Old pairing tokens and cached reference data are cleared. Earlier versions could enter values on the page; this version only reads the page and copies one value at a time. Chrome may ask you to accept the changed permissions before the extension becomes available again.
