YOURSAFE - KEEP IT YOURS KEEP IT SAFE YourSafe helps you sign in to websites using the passwords and verification codes saved in the app. - The extension connects your browser to your local vault. It shows saved accounts that match the website you are visiting, lets you fill login details, and gives you access to verification codes for accounts configured in YourSafe. - Install YourSafe if you want a convenient way to use your existing Windows vault while keeping approval of each password or code request in your hands. WHY INSTALL YOURSAFE? • Spend less time typing login details. Choose a saved account and fill its username and password instead of entering them manually. • Find the right account for the current website. • The extension shows matching saved accounts. If you have several accounts for the same website, you can choose the one you want to use. • Access verification codes alongside your passwords. • View and copy two-step verification codes for accounts already configured in YourSafe. • Keep using your local Windows vault. Your encrypted vault stays on your computer, without cloud synchronization. FILL SAVED USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS - Open YourSafe on a website’s sign-in page and select Fill for the account you want to use. - After you approve the request in the YourSafe Windows app, the extension fills the username and password fields. - YourSafe does not submit the form or sign you in automatically. You can check the account and the filled details before clicking the website’s sign-in button. - This is useful when you regularly use saved accounts and want to avoid retyping login information. VIEW AND COPY VERIFICATION CODES: - If an account has two-step verification configured in YourSafe, select View code to see its current verification code. - A countdown shows how much time remains before the code expires. When you need another code, return to the account list and request it again. - Copy code asks the Windows app to copy the current code after a separate approval. You can then paste it into the website’s verification field. - Viewing a code and copying it are separate actions. If the code changes before you approve copying, YourSafe copies the current code. YOU APPROVE EACH REQUEST: - Each of these actions requires your approval in YourSafe on Windows: • Filling a saved password. • Viewing a verification code. • Copying a verification code. You choose which account to use and which action to approve. The extension does not save passwords or verification codes for later use. REQUIREMENTS: - YourSafe is a companion extension for the YourSafe Windows app. It cannot be used on its own. To use it, you need: • YourSafe installed and running on Windows. • Your password vault unlocked. • Browser integration enabled in YourSafe Settings. • Saved accounts with the matching website’s HTTPS address. Browser integration needs to be enabled again each time you open the Windows app.
