About Young's Internet Addiction Test
This extension brings you Kimberly Young's classic 20-question Internet Addiction
Test (IAT) in a clean, modern side panel with a glass-style design. Take the test
in under 5 minutes, get an instant score with a clear interpretation, and track
your results over time — all without ever leaving your browser tab.
WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT
🧊 Beautiful, modern interface
A calm glassmorphism design with soft gradients, smooth animations, and a clean
layout built specifically for Chrome's side panel — no clutter, no distractions.
🌍 Five languages built in
Switch instantly between English, Español, Русский, Українська, and Français
using the language selector in the panel. No reinstalling, no separate versions.
📊 Instant, easy-to-read results
Your score is shown on an animated circular indicator along with a plain-language
explanation of what it means — average use, frequent problems, or significant
problems — based on the original Young IAT scoring scale.
💾 Private result history
Every completed test is saved automatically so you can look back and see how
things change over time. Delete any single entry or clear your whole history
whenever you like.
🔒 100% private, offline, and ad-free
All your data — answers, scores, and history — stays only on your own device
using Chrome's local storage. Nothing is ever sent to a server, tracked, sold,
or shared. There are no ads, no analytics, and no account required.
