The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Yandex Music → Last.fm Bridge (Scrobbler)
Short description
Control Yandex Music, scrobble to Last.fm, and use a side panel or mini player.
Full description
Yandex Music to Last.fm Bridge brings Yandex Music controls, track information and optional Last.fm scrobbling to Chrome. Choose a toolbar popup, side panel or floating mini player and control playback without switching back to the music tab.
An open Yandex Music or Yandex Radio tab is required. The extension controls playback in that tab; it does not play music independently.
Interface languages
The interface is available in 24 languages, including Hebrew with a right-to-left (RTL) layout. A guided first-run setup helps you choose the language, player mode, Last.fm connection and notification preferences.
Track information
• Artist, track, album and artwork
• Duration, playback position and playback state
• Like and dislike state when available
• Links to the track, artist and artwork when provided by the music source
• Yandex Radio station and recognized track information when available
Player controls
• Play and pause
• Next and previous track
• Like and dislike
• Seek and volume controls
• Repeat and shuffle where supported by the current Yandex Music playback mode
• Configurable Chrome keyboard shortcuts
• Open or return to Yandex Music and Yandex Radio
Interfaces
• Toolbar popup, side panel and resizable floating mini player
• Full and compact player layouts, focus mode and album-color accents
• Light, dark and system themes
• Scrobble queue, retry status, control diagnostics and connection recovery
• Last.fm profile and listening statistics when connected directly
• Configurable browser sync for selected appearance, language, control and listening preferences
Track notifications
Optional Chrome notifications show the track title, artists and artwork. Pause/resume and like/remove-like buttons are available where supported by the music source and notification system. Browser permission is required; a desktop companion is not needed. Appearance and available controls depend on Chrome and the operating system. Enabling browser notifications replaces companion track popups to avoid duplicates.
Optional features
• Direct Last.fm scrobbling from the browser
• Last.fm connection fallback through the YM Bridge service when the direct authentication API is unavailable
• Cloud relay fallback when direct Last.fm access is unavailable; selected by default, starts only after you accept the one-time data-use review, and can be disabled
• Local Now Playing export to TXT, JSON and a cover image for OBS or other tools after folder access is granted
• Optional local desktop companion for track popups; the extension remains responsible for Last.fm delivery
Privacy
There are no ads, product analytics or behavioral tracking. Settings, queue state and the Last.fm session key are stored in Chrome extension storage.
Preference sync is enabled by default for selected settings and uses Chrome's browser sync when available. You can choose which preference groups to sync or disable it in the extension settings. Last.fm credentials, session keys and the scrobble queue are excluded from browser sync.
If you enable browser notifications and grant permission, track information and artwork are passed to Chrome's notification system for display.
The YM Bridge service provides Last.fm application configuration, authenticates supported extension builds and provides user-initiated authentication fallback and optional Cloud relay.
If you choose username-or-email and password sign-in, those credentials are sent over HTTPS through the YM Bridge service only after you submit the sign-in form and solely to obtain a Last.fm session key. The password is not stored.
Cloud relay is selected by default as a fallback but remains inactive until you accept the one-time in-extension data-use review. Direct Last.fm delivery is always tried first. Only if it is unavailable can completed track metadata and the Last.fm session key be sent through the relay. You can disable Cloud relay at any time. When the service is contacted, Cloudflare may process your IP address and technical request metadata as the infrastructure provider.
Yandex Music and Yandex Radio may change their web interfaces. Built-in diagnostics and connection recovery tools help identify integration problems.
