The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About YAK

The ultimate extension for YouTube power users. 🛡️ Zero Distractions & Clean UI • Hides YouTube Shorts entirely (redirects and removes from feeds). • Toggleable UI elements: Hide the sidebar, comments, live chat, end-cards, and navigation drawer. 🔒 Privacy & Performance • Blocks invasive YouTube telemetry, tracking pings, and logging events in the background. • Pre-warms thumbnail CDNs on startup for faster page loads without heavy background usage. • Audio-only mode logic to keep media pipelines active while reducing resource waste from ambient modes.
