About XML Viewer & Formatter - Pretty Print, XPath, Search
This XML viewer and formatter shows an XML page as a collapsible, color-coded tree as soon as it loads, with a count on every branch.
Open an API response, a sitemap or an RSS feed and it is already formatted. Press / to search inside folded branches too, or x for XPath.
A malformed document shows its error at the line and column. It is built for developers and SEO specialists who read XML in the browser.
🌳 Pages, feeds and sitemaps open as a tree you can search and query
🔒 No ads and no tracking. Your documents stay in your browser
🆓 Free with no account, plus a page to paste or open a file
What you get:
---------------------
✅ Works on feeds, plain-text XML and local files once file access is on
✅ Switch between the tree, pretty text and the raw source
✅ Search highlights up to 1,000 matches and opens their branches
✅ XPath 1.0 with a ready prefix for every namespace
✅ Copy any element or its XPath, or download the document
✅ Arrow keys, Alt-click for a whole branch, and [ and ] to fold or open everything
✅ Line numbers, wrapping, indent width and a one-click theme
✅ The viewer page formats what you paste, drop or open, .gz files included
Privacy:
---------------------
🚫 No analytics and no remote code
🚫 One extra request at most: the page's own address, read again for its exact text
🚫 Site access lets a small detector check each page and leave the rest untouched
Good to know:
---------------------
Documents over 50 MB are shown as text, and XPath works up to 20 MB. Downloaded files, such as .xml.gz sitemaps, open on the viewer page.
