The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About XCuts
x.com the way you want
Choose what you see and how you post on X.
Hide unwanted posts with a compact placeholder or a blur that follows X's light and dark themes. Keep the effect minimal, or choose Ray Gun, Stamp, or Crumple when posts collapse. You can reveal filtered posts.
Describe your interests to highlight relevant posts with a blue left border. Keep the rest of your feed visible, or choose Show matches only. XCuts helps you find conversations; you write and send your own replies.
Schedule posts through X's native schedule controls, improve drafts with your own OpenAI key, and reduce distractions with composer focus mode. Connect Bluesky or Mastodon to crosspost from X's composer.
No XCuts account is required. The optional feed filter includes the XCuts classifier, or you can use your own OpenAI key. Filtering is off by default. The classifier sends post text and IDs, your criteria, and a random install identifier to the XCuts service; TypeSafe AI processes the text, post IDs, and criteria. Post IDs match results to posts. The service stores usage counts, not post text or criteria. OpenAI features send text directly to OpenAI. Crossposting sends content and authentication requests to your selected service.
Works on x.com and twitter.com.
