X Media Grid

Born from one complaint: "Bring back the old media tab." X Media Grid turns X's media tab, home timeline, likes, bookmarks and search results into a clean image grid. And here's the real feature: you can like, bookmark, repost and reply right on the grid, without opening a single post. FEATURES - Photos first: X now opens the media tab on the video side. This extension opens it on the photo side instead. Want videos? One click on "Videos" in the toolbar, or switch the setting back to video-first - Grid view for media tabs, home, likes, bookmarks and search results - Zoom in place: roll the mouse wheel over an image to zoom right where it is, using the whole screen. Works in X's own image viewer too, where the wheel normally just scrolls the page behind it - One click on and off: a button in the bottom-left corner puts X's normal layout back at any time. The choice is remembered per place, so you can keep media tabs as a grid while home stays normal - 1-10 columns, remembered per place: 3 on media tabs, 5 on home, 4 on likes. Each spot keeps its own setting - Act without opening: hover a tile for like / bookmark / repost / reply buttons, or do the same from the keyboard - Browse by keyboard: WASD or arrows to move, Q to zoom, Space to scroll. Every key binding is yours to change, and keys you don't want can be turned off - Unread tracking: seen posts get a colored strip; the "unread only" filter shows just what's new - Fast: posts and profiles open instantly in the same tab; going back restores your exact spot - Numbers visible: like / repost / reply counts on every tile, view counts in the zoom view - Yours: custom accent and seen colors, light and dark themes, UI follows your X language (EN/JA) SAFE BY DESIGN - Display-only: no auto-likes, auto-follows, auto-posts or scraping, ever. Actions run only when you press the key or button - Your data stays local: settings and read history live in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere - One permission: storage (for settings).
