Line edits for fiction, in the editor you already use. WriteWithPaige underlines the habits that flatten a scene while you type, and rewrites a passage when you ask. Most grammar checkers were built for email and school papers, so they flag the fragments and loose dialogue that fiction runs on. This one was built for novelists and fan fiction writers. It leaves your voice alone. FREE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED • Filter words ("she felt", "he noticed") that tell the reader about a moment instead of putting them in it • Dialogue tags propped up by adverbs ("she said softly") • Echoes: the same word twice within a few lines Click an underline for a short note. These checks run inside your browser, so your text stays on your computer. WITH A FREE WRITEWITHPAIGE ACCOUNT • Your own banned phrases, underlined in every draft • Select a passage and pick Tighten, Smooth flow, Fix grammar or Punch up dialogue. The rewrite replaces your selection in place. • Deep check: Paige reads the page for what a rule can't catch, like a line no one would say out loud, and suggests fixes you apply in one click. • The full WriteWithPaige app in Chrome's side panel, opened from the toolbar icon.
