WorthIt — Job Check for Upwork

Connects cost real money, and most of them are spent on jobs that were never winnable: 50+ proposals already in, clients who never hire, budgets that contradict their own history, or "job posts" that are actually someone advertising themselves. WorthIt reads the Upwork job posting you're viewing and shows an honest APPLY / MAYBE / SKIP verdict with a 0-100 score — before you spend a single connect. Open a job (full page, feed, or search slide-over) and the verdict panel appears. That's the whole workflow. INSTANT CHECK — unlimited, free • Proposal count and competition • Client spend, hire rate, and rating • Payment verification • Budget vs. the client's actual spending history • How fresh the posting is • The job's required skills vs. yours (set them once in options) AI CHECK — 2 free per day, one click A model reads the job description for what rules can't see: • Vague or shifting scope • "Free test project" bait • Freelancer ads posing as job posts • Signs you'd be one of many shortlisted candidates WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO WorthIt shows you a verdict. You still decide. • Never bids or applies for you • Never changes your hourly rate • Never writes or submits proposals • Never touches an Upwork form PRIVACY No account, no sign-up. The job text is processed transiently to compute your verdict — not stored. Your skills and preferences stay in your browser. The only identifier is a random device id, and analytics are anonymous and can be switched off in options.
