About Worth Applying?
Open a job posting, click the icon, and see how well it fits your resume on a scale of 1 to 10.
Each score shows:
• A recommendation: Strongly apply, Apply and tailor, Apply if interested, or Deprioritize
• How you match on six parts of the job: required qualifications, core work, role level, customer type, company stage, and domain
• The main factor behind the score
• Whether the company is likely to sponsor a US visa, if you need one
How the score works
TypeSafe's Jev model rates the overall fit and the six parts of the match. The extension blends them into one score from 1 to 10. We tuned the blend against 101 full fit reviews from Lenny's Jobs. 93 of the 101 scores came out the same, or 1 point off.
What you need
• A TypeSafe API key. Get one at console.typesafe.ai/settings/keys.
• Your resume as text. Paste it once in Settings.
Scoring 100 jobs costs about 2¢ of TypeSafe usage. The popup shows the cost of each score.
Privacy
The extension reads a page only when you click its icon. If the page looks like a job posting, it sends your resume and the page's title, company, text, and web address to api.typesafe.ai for scoring. On other pages it waits until you click Score anyway. Your key, resume, and past scores stay in your browser. There are no analytics, ads, or tracking, and we don't run a server.
