Work Timer for Jira

Work Timer for Jira adds a start/stop timer to every Jira Cloud issue. When you stop it, you confirm the time and it is saved as a worklog on that issue, so your timesheet fills itself in as you work. HOW IT WORKS • Open any issue and click Start timer in the corner of the page. • The elapsed time shows on the page and on the toolbar icon. • Click Stop to review the entry: start time, hours (rounded to the nearest 15 minutes, and editable) and an optional comment. Click Log work and it is posted to Jira. • Moving to another ticket? "Switch to" logs the current timer and starts the next one in one step. • The toolbar popup shows the running timer and the hours you have logged today against your daily target (8 hours by default, adjustable). PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Uses your existing Jira sign-in. No API token, no extra account, no Jira admin install. • Talks only to your own Jira site. Nothing is sent to the developer or anyone else, and there is no tracking or analytics. • Stores only the running timer and your daily target, in Chrome. Works with Jira Cloud sites on atlassian.net and jira.com. Built by Sai Siva Ram, HTM Consulting Services. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian. Jira is a trademark of Atlassian.
