WordLinea

Make words your own. Build your personal vocabulary from what you read. Halfway through a sentence, a word you don't know. Select it, and its meaning comes from the sentence around it — and you can hear the whole sentence. The sentence and the page it came from are kept with the word in your library. Split phrases like look … up can be saved too. Paragraphs and whole pages can be translated: original only, translation only, or side by side. A few days later, the word comes back with its sentence. A minute at the bus stop is enough to answer one question on the web, on your phone or computer, and every answer is saved as you go. Offline, answers stay on the device and sync once you're back online. When it turns up in another article, words you're still learning are softly marked on the page. Two ways to use it • With your own translation service: enter an API address, model and key in the extension settings. No account is needed to look up words and translate pages. The key stays in the extension in this browser, and so do the words you look up. • Connect your library: with an invitation, create an account and connect the extension. WordLinea's translation service, review, sync and pronunciation come with it, and the words already in this browser move into your library. Request an invitation at wordlinea.com.
