About Wird — وِرْد
Wird replaces the new tab with a calm Islamic page that fits one screen: a verse of
the Qur'an with its tafsir, a hadith, the dhikr of the hour, and one of the Names of
Allah — in Arabic and English, fully offline.
NEW IN 2.0
• Full Arabic or English interface, with English translation under the ayah, hadith and dhikr
• Tafsir al-Muyassar (King Fahd Complex) under every ayah, with Tazkirul Quran in English
• Azkar: morning and evening, after prayer, sleep and waking, everyday duas — each with
a counter that remembers what you completed today, and the hour's dhikr on the page
• Tasbih: eight phrases, 33 / 99 / 100 / 1000 targets, lifetime totals and a day streak
• Prayer times and qibla computed on your device from a city you pick (70 cities or
manual coordinates) — location permission is never requested — with the next prayer
in the top bar
• Hijri calendar hints: Friday and Al-Kahf, Monday/Thursday fasts, the white days,
Ramadan, Arafah and Ashura, the Eids
• The Names of Allah: one each day, with transliteration and meaning
• Command palette (⌘K) and shortcuts: R new draw · A azkar · D tasbih · M prayer · T tafsir
• Quick first-run setup: language, then city, done
• 10 Islamic geometric patterns × 40 palettes that follow the time of day
• Classical Arabic poetry is still here, hidden by default — enable it in settings
CONTENT
• 1,820 Qur'anic passages in Uthmani script from every surah, with the Saheeh
International translation
• 1,492 hadith — the Forty Nawawi and Forty Qudsi complete, plus filtered selections
from Mishkat al-Masabih and Riyad as-Salihin — with narrator, grading, source and
English translation
• 221 azkar from Hisn al-Muslim with translation, transliteration and repeat counts
• The 99 Names of Allah · 367 verses by 95 poets
