Wikmaz - Perplexity Ultimate Export

Unlock your data from Perplexity.ai. "Wikmaz - Perplexity Ultimate Export" is the ultimate, privacy-first tool designed for developers, AI engineers, and data hoarders. Easily back up your entire chat history directly to your local drive. 🚀 KEY FEATURES: * Full Automation: One-click bulk export of your threads. * RAG-Ready Markdown: Chats are formatted cleanly into .md files (separating User/Assistant roles), perfect for feeding local LLMs, Obsidian, or Notion. * Smart Segregation: Automatically categorizes files based on your Perplexity Spaces (General, Bookmarks, Custom Spaces). * Zero Telemetry: 100% local processing. No external servers, no tracking. Your data goes straight from the active Perplexity tab to your hard drive. * Memory Optimized: Built-in cache clearing prevents browser crashes even with thousands of threads. 📂 WHERE ARE MY FILES SAVED? The extension respects your browser's default download location. It automatically creates a master folder named "Perplexity_Export" inside your standard "Downloads" directory and cleanly segregates your chats into subfolders based on your Spaces. No manual sorting required! 🛠️ PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED: We believe in absolute transparency: - "downloads": Required to automatically save the generated Markdown files to your hard drive. - "scripting" / "activeTab": Required to safely fetch chat metadata directly from your active session without opening intrusive background tabs. ☕ SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT: If this tool saved you hours of manual copying, consider supporting the creator! * Global: https://ko-fi.com/wikmaz * Poland: https://suppi.pl/wikmaz Developed with passion by Wikmaz.
