The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Wherefrom
Wherefrom: App Store Region Badges for X
See where accounts connect from directly in your feed.
Wherefrom surfaces the App Store region associated with any X account using the public “Connected via” data under About this account.
Key Features
Instant Region Indicators: Specific countries display a compact flag, while broader territories (such as Europe or South Asia) and Web users show a colored badge right next to handles as you scroll x.com or X Pro.
Hover for Details: Click or hover any badge to view full “Connected via” and “Account based in” details. (Note: These badges reflect store region or registration metadata, not verified physical residence.)
Smart Local Caching: Previously retrieved labels load instantly from local storage to minimize network requests. If X rate-limits lookups, requests pause automatically while your cached badges stay visible.
Custom Keyword Highlights: Set custom highlight words (e.g., “Europe” or “India”). Flagged accounts stand out with clear color rings—orange for matching “Connected via” labels and blue for “Account based in” matches.
Scroll Breakdown & Map Report: Open your local dashboard to view an interactive map and count breakdown by country and region. Filter between your timeline and following list across Home, Following feeds, lists, and X Pro columns. (Reflects posts and accounts rendered on your screen, not an exhaustive audit of your network.)
Export & Review: Export your saved labels to a local file. Optionally import them into Tweedelette’s Following management tool to filter and audit accounts. The extension never unfollows anyone automatically—every action requires your explicit confirmation.
Privacy & Performance
100% Local Storage: Your cache, history, and analytics reports remain exclusively on your machine and are never transmitted to Tweedelette servers.
One-Click Data Clearing: Hitting “Clear cache” in the extension popup immediately purges all stored labels and scroll reports.
Auditing Disclosures: If you choose to import your exported labels into Tweedelette to preview filters, only matching handles are referenced against your active following list.
