The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About whatROI Lens — profit for whatnot sellers
You did $5,000 last night. This tells you what you kept.
whatnot shows you gross. whatROI Lens reads your own Show Report or Weekly Orders Report and shows you the net: commission at your actual tier, payment processing, shipping, refunds, and what is left.
It runs in your browser. Your reports are never uploaded anywhere.
WHAT IT DOES
• Full P&L from a report in about a second — gross, fees, shipping, refunds, net, and net per streamed hour
• Works out which commission tier you are on, from the commission you were actually charged. whatnot doesn't put that on a page anywhere. It also tells you what the next tier down would have been worth on that same report.
• Checks every order's fees against the published rate card, and tells you plainly when nothing is wrong
• Names the money that walked out the door: shipping you ate, refunds against earlier weeks, coupons, cancellation fees, giveaway postage, carrier re-weighs, orders that paid you nothing. Each one a figure, worst first, with the orders behind it.
• Checks its own arithmetic against what the report says reached your balance, and shows you the gap if there is one
• On your own whatnot orders page, totals what the page is worth — something whatnot shows per order but never adds up — and takes off what your labels actually cost
• Tracks pace during a show, and the last half hour that cleared your hourly floor
• Makes a share card of your night, with a switch to show percentages instead of dollars
• Five calculators in the popup: fees at your tier, the price a lot has to hatch at, whether a case is worth buying, what a label costs, what an hour of streaming has to clear
• Works for US, Canadian, British, European, Australian and Japanese sellers
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
It cannot know what your stock cost. A browser can read fees and shipping; it can't know the case was $1,800. So every net figure here says so, and it is takings rather than profit.
It is a calculator, not a ledger. It keeps thirty days on your machine and then forgets.
For what you actually made — cost per lot, inventory, profit per show, tax exports — there is whatROI at whatroi.com. One button hands a report straight over.
PRIVACY
Your reports are parsed on your own machine and stored only there. Nothing is transmitted. The extension makes exactly one request: it fetches the published fee schedule from whatroi.com once a day, and sends nothing with it — no orders, no identifiers, not even a query string.
Free. No account needed.
