About Website Color Palette Extractor — Colorize.design

Get the color palette of any website in one click. Open Colorize.design on any page and the popup instantly shows the colors that page is actually built from — sampled from what's on screen and read straight out of its HTML and CSS. Click any swatch to copy its hex. WHAT YOU GET IN THE POPUP • Screenshot colors — the dominant colors of the view in front of you, including scrolled-to sections and logged-in pages no crawler can reach. • Code colors — the colors declared in the page's inline markup and its stylesheets, read from the live DOM. • Custom colors — sample any pixel on the page with the eyedropper and add it to your palette. Your picks are remembered per site. • Whole-page colors — read the entire scrollable page instead of just what's on screen. • One-click hex copy on every swatch. • Edit mode — tick the swatches you want, then keep or delete the rest before you export. • Share — copy a link to this page's palette. • Download the whole palette as a file, ready to open in your design tool or drop straight into a stylesheet. • Three extraction algorithms — quantization, popularity and Material Design — because a photo-heavy page and a flat dashboard reward completely different methods. • A slider for how many screenshot colors to pull, from a tight scheme to a full twelve. • A toggle per source, so you can look at CSS colors alone, or screenshot colors alone. NEED THE FULL PALETTE? Press Generate More and the page opens on colorize.design with your settings carried across, for the deep extraction a browser tab can't do on its own: • Brand colors — the primary and secondary colors the site uses consistently. • Logo colors — the dominant colors in the brand's logo. • Homepage colors — sampled from a full screenshot of the site's homepage. • JavaScript colors — colors declared across the site's .js files. • Nearest named colors — every extracted color matched to its closest named color. • Exports — the same download, from the full palette rather than the page in front of you. Free, and no account needed. WHO IT'S FOR Web designers matching a client's existing color scheme. Developers pulling exact hex values to rebuild a design system. Brand teams auditing how a company uses color across its site. And anyone who has ever stopped on a page and wondered what blue that is. PRIVACY The extension reads a tab only when you open the popup, and only the tab you're looking at. Color extraction runs on your machine — the screenshot of your tab is processed locally and never leaves your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you press Generate More, which sends that page's URL to colorize.design to build the full palette, or Download, which sends the palette's color values to colorize.design to be converted into the file format you picked. Colors you pick with the eyedropper are saved on this device only. No account, no analytics, no tracking. Made by the team behind colorize.design.
