The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Website Code Extractor

Website Code Extractor saves the page you’re viewing as a ZIP file: its HTML, stylesheets, scripts and images, sorted into folders. HOW IT WORKS ① Open a website. ② Click the extension icon, then Extract & Download. ③ Choose where to save the ZIP. WHAT’S IN THE ZIP ▸ index.html, captured as the page looks right now, including content added by JavaScript ▸ The CSS files, JavaScript files and images the page links to ▸ Links in index.html rewritten to point at the local copies ▸ Files grouped into folders by the domain they came from, such as the site itself and any CDNs GOOD FOR ▸ Studying how a page is built ▸ Keeping a copy of a page’s markup and assets ▸ Starting a redesign or prototype from an existing page LIMITATIONS ▸ Saves one page at a time, not a whole site. ▸ Files referenced from inside CSS, like web fonts and background images, aren’t included. ▸ Browser pages (chrome://) and the Chrome Web Store can’t be extracted. PRIVACY ✓ No account, no analytics, no ads ✓ Runs only when you click it ✓ No server of its own. The ZIP is built on your computer. WHY IT ASKS FOR PERMISSIONS “Read and change all your data on all websites” → Lets it read the page you’re on and download its CSS, JavaScript and images, which are often hosted on other domains. “Manage your downloads” → Lets it save the ZIP to the folder you pick.
