The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About WebMCP DevTools — Tool Inspector & Auditor
WebMCP DevTools — inspect, test, audit and export the WebMCP tools a website exposes to AI agents.
WebMCP (document.modelContext) lets websites register functions as "tools" for AI agents. This side panel shows you exactly what a page registers and helps you make it agent-ready.
🔧 Tool Inspector — Auto-detects imperative (registerTool) and declarative (<form toolname>) tools on any page. View schemas, parameters, descriptions and tool annotations (read-only, consequential, untrusted output) at a glance.
▶️ Execute — Run any tool from the panel with an auto-generated form, see results with JSON highlighting, and keep an execution history.
📊 Readiness Audit — 0-100 score for descriptions, input schemas, naming, titles, required fields and per-property docs, with concrete recommendations and an AI fix prompt you can paste into your assistant.
⚡ Performance — Per-tool latency (avg, P95), success/failure rate, slow-tool warnings and a benchmark runner for safe read-only tools.
🛡️ Security Checklist — Loose schemas (additionalProperties), high-risk actions without a consequential hint, sensitive parameters (passwords, keys), missing types and URL exposure.
📤 Export — Copy or download tool definitions as JSON schemas ready for LLM function calling, or as code snippets (cURL, TypeScript, Python). Audit and security reports export as Markdown or JSON.
🌐 Directory & Showcase — Keeps a local list of sites where you found tools, plus a curated showcase of public sites and official demos to try right away.
🌍 English and Turkish UI, dark/light/system themes.
