The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Webmarka WCAG Audit: Accessibility Review
Webmarka WCAG Audit scans the current web page against WCAG 2.1 AA or WCAG 2.2 AA and maps every finding directly to the related success criteria. For criteria that automated tests cannot cover, it provides a step-by-step manual review guide.
It uses axe-core, the widely adopted open-source accessibility engine. Results open in Chrome's side panel, right next to the page.
FEATURES
• One-click scan: Click the extension icon; the page is scanned and results open in the side panel.
• WCAG 2.1 AA and 2.2 AA profiles: Choose your target version. 56 Level A/AA success criteria are covered.
• Numbered issue cards: Issues are sorted by impact (critical, serious, moderate, minor). The same number is marked on the page so you can spot each problem instantly.
• "Show" on page: Highlights each affected element and scrolls it into view.
• Clear guidance: Every issue explains what is wrong and how to fix it. Contrast issues show foreground/background colors and ratio; target size issues show dimensions.
• Needs review: Results that can't be decided automatically are listed separately, with the reason a human check is needed.
• Guided manual review: Check steps for every criterion, links to W3C documentation, and a Pass / Fail / Not applicable decision with notes.
• Export: Download results as HTML or JSON to share with clients or your team.
• Auto rescan: Optionally rescan when the page or tab changes.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Web developers, designers, QA testers, accessibility auditors and anyone improving the accessibility of a website.
PRIVACY
• No data is collected or sent to any server.
• Scans run entirely in your browser. Reports and settings are stored only on your device and can be deleted at any time.
• Potentially personal content such as form values is never written to reports.
• The extension only accesses the tab you click it on.
IMPORTANT
Automated tools can only test part of the WCAG criteria. A "no issues found" result does not mean the page conforms to WCAG. Complete the manual review steps for a full evaluation.
