About Wakato Browser Companion
The Wakato Browser Companion connects your browser to Wakato (https://wakato.io) and unlocks three things during calls:
• Your assistant does it for you — on a voice call with your Wakato assistant, share a tab and ask ("fill in this form", "find the invoice from March"): the first time, you tap Allow; then it clicks, types and scrolls in that tab while you watch. It never types passwords or card numbers — you do.
• Remote control — a teammate or guest asks for control of the tab you're sharing; you approve, and they can click, type and scroll in it while everyone watches. One click takes control back.
• Click-through — interact with your own shared tab directly from the meeting preview, without switching tabs.
The extension only ever acts on one tab: the browser tab you chose to share. If you share a window or your whole screen, nothing can be controlled. Nothing runs outside an active Wakato call, every control session starts with your explicit approval, and stopping the share or revoking control disconnects it instantly. Every click is shown on screen as an orange ripple, so there is never invisible activity.
The extension collects no data, has no analytics or telemetry, makes no network requests of its own, and stores nothing beyond which tab is being shared during the call. It is a local bridge between the Wakato tab and the tab you share — that's all.
Requires a free Wakato account to be useful.
