Browsers normally cap audio at 100%. Volume Booster uses the Web Audio API to remove that cap and push the volume beyond what your hardware would normally allow. When you click the extension icon, the active tab automatically boosts to 200%. You can fine-tune it with the slider, or use the 50/200/400 quick presets. The Reset button always brings you back to 100% (normal level). If you turn on All Tabs mode, every adjustment you make from that point on applies to all open tabs at once. The meter in the popup shows the real-time strength of whatever audio is currently playing. Good to know: it may not work on DRM-protected platforms like Netflix or Spotify due to browser security restrictions.
