VIURL — Truth Layer for the Web

VIURL — Truth Layer for the Web Most social platforms profit from outrage. VIURL pays users for honest fact-checking. With this extension, you bring that signal everywhere. WHAT IT DOES A subtle floating indicator appears in the bottom-right corner of every web page you visit. It shows VIURL's crowd-sourced verification status for that URL at a glance — no clicks required. • Green TRUE — community verified the page is accurate • Red FALSE — community verified the page contains false claims • Orange MISLEADING — page is technically true but framed deceptively • Yellow PARTIAL — only some claims are verified true • Orange DISPUTED — verifiers disagree, no consensus • Gray VERIFY — no one has verified yet, be the first Click the indicator to see verifier count, the consensus gauge, and a one-tap link to view the full discussion on viurl.com. Click the toolbar icon for a deeper popup with the full link card preview. Hate it on a particular site? One click hides it on that domain. Hate it everywhere? One click hides it permanently. PRIVACY This extension only sends the URL of pages where you have it visible to viurl.com — once per page load — so VIURL can look up verifications. We do NOT read page content. We do NOT track your browsing history. We do NOT use cookies for tracking. WHO BUILDS THIS VIURL LLC, a Texas company. The platform is at viurl.com.
