About Vipra — Privacy Layer

Vipra is a privacy layer for the web. It shows sensitive information in the text you are about to send, and replaces it on your device when you choose Protect. It looks for emails, phone numbers, names, card numbers, IBANs, US Social Security numbers and Spanish DNI/NIE, IP addresses, API keys, tokens, and secret links. Matches are highlighted in the field. Open Review to see each one, then Protect or Dismiss. Protect all replaces every match in that field. Nothing you type is uploaded. Detection and replacement run in the browser. Vipra does not ask you to create an account. Free is €0. Detecting, highlighting, reviewing, and dismissing are unlimited and are not counted. A successful protection uses one of five protections per calendar day on this device. Protect all counts as one protection, not one per match. The allowance resets the next local day. Lifetime is €4.99 once. It removes the daily limit. There is no subscription. If you already have a license key, enter it in the popup and press Activate. The key is checked with Lemon Squeezy. The text in the page is not included. The popup shows how many of the five free protections you have used today.
