Vinyl Radio

Vinyl Radio is a light, quiet internet radio player that lives in your Chrome toolbar. Pick a country, pick a station, press play. A spinning vinyl at the centre, soft controls around it, and audio that keeps going after you close the popup and get back to work. WHAT'S IN IT - Thousands of internet radio stations from around the world, powered by radio-browser.info - Country picker with quick region switching - Live search across the catalogue by station name - Background playback - close the popup, keep listening - Volume, mute, previous, next, play/pause - Remembers your last country, station, and volume - Station icons pulled from the station itself, or DuckDuckGo as a clean fallback WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most radio extensions feel like they came out of 2012. Vinyl Radio is designed around a single idea: opening a radio should feel a little bit like dropping the needle. Everything else the vinyl disc, the soft neumorphic buttons, the drawer that slides up to reveal stations flows from that. PRIVACY No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No ads. Your preferences are stored on your device using Chrome's storage API. Nothing leaves your browser except the requests needed to fetch the station list and stream the audio you choose to play.
